We were blessed with some special accomplishments in 2011:

• LaBellasera Hotel and Suites selected Butterfly Brittle as their pillow turndown treats to enhance their clients stay and wine experience while in Paso Robles, California.

• Butterfly Brittle’s founder, Ardie Hood was interviewed live “on air” at the 2011 San Francisco’s Chronicle Wine Competition by KGO AM810 Radio Extraordinaire Joel Riddell.

• We participated in several wine tastings and were the recipients of multiple awards at the 2011 Los Angeles and San Francisco Chocolate Luxury Salons, including: Best Gift Set, Top Toffee in Salon, New Product Award and Best Comfort Chocolate or Snack Product. The judges raved about our brittles saying, “Butterfly Brittle deserves an honorable mention because of their very particularly homespun finery in their delicate treats. Plus they take extra care with a personal touch in their gift packaging…their style has a very nostalgic, wholesome charm. Plus, their Gingered Cashew brittle was delicious!”

• We introduced seasonal varietals that were overwhelmingly embraced:

“Wow” Cacao (Fall)

We are excited about our planned participations in 2012 wine tastings contributing to the enhancement of your wine tasting experiences.  Our kickoff begins with The Annual Chronicle Wine Tasting held at Fort Mason in San Francisco on February 18, 2012. The Chronicle is one of the largest public tasting competitions of American wines in the world, an extraordinary specialty food experience featuring hand-crafted creations from premier artisan foods, and loads of fun.
